Military Driving Skills Experience

| Description: | During your experience you will switch between several vehicles. Each time you will have an hour to learn skills which are relevant to driving them over the battlefield course. The instructors are highly qualified and have experience in a real combat driving. You will try out following vehicles: |
| Tracked FV432 Armoured Personnel Carrier 12.5 tons heavy vehicle powered by a Rolls Royce engine most commonly used for transporting infantry on the battlefield. You will be given an opportunity to master this machine. It is still in current service as both an armoured ambulance and challenger support vehicle. |
| Off Road 4x4 The 100 Long wheelbase and 90 short wheelbase landrovers are the key transport units of all British Armed Forces. You will not only drive the vehicle over the combat course, but also test your skills during the competition in which you will try to tow a loaded 3 ton Sankey Trailer. |
| Artillery Train consisting of Quad, Limber and 25 pounder In this stage of the day you will get the opportunity to try your hand at towing an ammunition limber and 25 pond field gun with a 60 year old Humber Quad. |
| Each stage will be preceded by a full safety briefing. If requested there will be time for photographs at the end of your activity. |

Important Notes:
Session Length: 4 hours
Clothing/Equipment Requirements : The site is either dusty or muddy. Adequate clothing and footwear is required. Old sturdy boots/shoes and old trousers are recommended, arms must be covered.
Food/Drink Included/Available for Purchase : Tea/coffee on arrival is included.
Numbers : You will share the driving events with up to 5 other participants.
Weather : The weather should not affect this experience. However, in cases of extreme weather conditions please check with the venue before setting off.
Age : Minimum 18 years
Health : You must be reasonably fit to take part.
Spectators Restrictions : Spectators are welcome at the site.
