Important Notes:
Length of Session : 2 nights.
Clothing/Equipment Requirements : Outdoor clothing should be tough and comfortable. Wearing several thin layers is better than a few thick layers. A waterproof jacket and several sweatshirts underneath are sufficient. Jeans should not be worn, as they are slow to dry, clinging and cold. Natural colours or camouflage will give you a better chance of spotting wildlife. Walking boots are ideal, but wellies in wet weather and trainers in dry weather will suffice.
Numbers : Group sizes vary depending on location. As a guide there will be between 8 to 12 people in your group.
Weather : In the unlikely event of the course being cancelled due to weather conditions an alternative date will be offered to you.
Age : Minimum 18 years.
Health : Whilst we cater for all levels of experience and fitness you will require a general standard of fitness to ensure that the most is gained from the activities. If unsure please consult your doctor or speak to the survival school for advice.
Spectators Restrictions : This event is not suitable for spectators.
Other Restrictions : The course requires no previous experience. We ask you to bear in mind you will be outdoors, so please do not expect any creature comforts. Of the two locations Wales is possibly the more demanding and will test you to a greater level especially in adverse weather.
